Computer Control STEM Building System - Grades 3 - 8
Build and control K’NEX models using the K’NEX Computer Control Set, while learning and applying STEM concepts
The K’NEX Interface acts as a traditional control interface when connected to a computer. Once a control program has been tested, it can be downloaded into the interface’s memory and used to operate a student built K’NEX model independent of the computer.
K’NEX Interface can control up to 2 motors, 6 output devices (buzzers, bulbs, LEDs) and 4 input devices (push button switches and reed switches) simultaneously.
The models in this STEM building set are fully functioning replicas of real-world machines, including a Sliding Door, Elevator, Bascule Bridge, Oscillating Fan and an Amusement Park Ride.
Compatible with interactive whiteboards. PC Compatible.
K'NEX education kit for kids builds 5 models, one at a time. Supports 1 - 2 students working as a team. Includes 699 K’NEX parts, K’NEX Interface and software, 2 motors, 3 LEDs, 1 Buzzer, 2 Push Button Switches, 2 Reed Switch, 4 Magnets, building instructions and student challenges.
